Thanks to all for the many comments, favorites, and new friends over the last week. The response to the Daily Deviation on Juicy overwhelmed me:

I just hoped to win the *macrophoto fruit contest (I tied for first place). For those who were interested, it's now available as a print.


I really wasn't done taking pictures when I blew up my bulb taking Juicy and Fresh Squeezed:

I got a replacement bulb, but I have been hesitant about taking similar photographs for fear that I would just be doing it for the views.

After a bit of soul-searching last night (as well as some Googling), I realized that I haven't tried everything I want to with the technique. So sometime this weekend, I'm going to set up the studio again and take a few more. Hopefully I'll have something good enough to post out of the session.
